Hello and thank-you for visiting my page. My name is DUWA and I Just want to thank you all for being a part of my journey so far. I have come to a pivotal moment in my ministry/career where your support is desperately needed.

I have put out an EP (Short Album) and currently working on a full studio album, a mini tour and marketing and promotions for my music.

For me to advance these are the next steps that I must take. These things cost a lot of money and as an independent artist, I certainly can’t do it on my own.

A lot of you have asked me how you could support me and my ministry, therefore my management (TMA Management) has helped me put together a crowd funding campaign.

My goal is to raise $30,000 before September of this year! I just need 300 people to pledge/donate $100 each and I will be able to reach my goal. Of course anything you donate will be appreciated and will go a long way. I believe we can pull it off. Nothing is impossible with God.

About DUWA

Faith, Family, Music three words that embodies who Duwa is. A singer, songwriter whose family immigrated to the United States when she was 12 years old, Duwa has been singing for as long as she can remember. Duwa started singing in the church at a tender age. From the children’s choir, to the youth choir,  and finally the adult choir, Duwa has always had a heart for God and for worship. Through her music Duwas goal is to spread hope to the churched and the unchurched. This is very evident in her songwriting.

Duwa’s natural gift of reading and writing plays a huge role in who she is today as a songwriter. Duwa started writing songs at the age of 14 and her passion grew for song writing in College at the University of North Carolina At Pembroke when she picked up the guitar. Self taught on the guitar writing songs became Duwa’s favorite thing to do. Her songs reveal the heart of God for his people and also create an atmosphere for the people of God to worship their creator.

“My parents have been ministers as long as I can remember. Holiness Pentecostal through my growing up years. My parents have their own ministry Solace Christian Ministry (founded in DC), an outreach ministry that started out as a prayer and Bible study in DC neighborhood. I’m always a part of singing, leading worship, etc. I’m a worshipper first and a musician second. I remember one night I was in my room and I prayed to God that I just wanted to worship, regardless of whether I make any money from it.”

Currently based in Kennesaw GA, Duwa is a worship leader that God is raising up for this Generation. She has been an integral part of worship teams from the DMV area to North Carolina, to California and Now Georgia serving as a worship leader at RCCG The House of Glory. Duwa has received vital training by Worship Giants at the Bethel School of Worship and is a certified worship leader.
